Ruth Maxine Jantzen's Obituary
Ruth Maxine Jantzen, was born Jan. 2, 1932 in Morrowville KS to Fay and Susie Throop and passed away July 23, 2021 in San Leandro, CA. She was proceeded in death by her husband Robert Lloyd Jantzen.
Robert and Ruth were married Feb. 10, 1951 in Canoga Park, CA. Robert served in the Navy with the Seabees. They began their married life on Guam and came home to Central Valley CA with many happy memories. Robert and Ruth raised their family in Hayward, Ca. They retired in Atwater, CA and San Lorenzo CA.
Robert and Ruth were caring and loving parents to five children. Daughter Constance Kelly (late son-in-law Donald Kelly). Son Robert Jantzen, great grandchildren Rodney Worroll, Shawna Turkins and Phillip Worroll. Son Lawrence Jantzen (daughter-in-law Robin Jantzen), grandson James, great grand children Makayla Rae Jantzen, Trenton James Jantzen, Zachariah Alynn Jantzen, and James Maliachi Jantzen. Daughter Teresa Lopez (son-in-law Donald Lopez), granddaughter Alixandria Lopez (fiance Thomas John Marquez), great grandchildren Jonathan Perrill, Evelyn Marquez. Grandsons Matthew Lopez and Zachary Lopez. Son Michael Jantzen (daughter-in-law Rebecca Jantzen).
Ruth was a homemaker and she took pride in being a wife and raising her family. She was kind and loving to all children and Mom to many in her extended family. Ruth is deeply missed by family and friends.
Ruth will be laid to rest at the Sacramento National Cemetery, Dixon, CA.
