ROY E. POWER, JR. ROY E. POWER JR. Passed away on December 2, 2006 in Castro Valley at the age of 91 years. Born on July 5, 1915 in Marguette, Nebraska and lived in San Leandro for 55 years. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Alice Power of San Leandro; cherished daughters, Darla (Jay) West of Hurricane, Utah and Doreen (Michael) DeMarco of San Lorenzo; two caring grandchildren, Christine Robertson and Randell West; three great-grandchildren, Paige, Nick and Tarah. Visitation for family and friends will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, with services at 1:30 p.m. in the Reflection Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward.
