Roxann Watkins' Obituary
Roxann Watkins was born on 6/16/1951 in Hayward, CA and passed away on August 30, 2018 in Newark, CA surrounded by her loved ones.Roxann graduated from Newark High School in 1969 and began working at GM where she met her husband Harold “Butch” Watkins. After his untimely passing, she continued to work at GM, then worked for AC Transit for 27 years before she retired. Roxann strived to make her community a better place. She was a Newark Moose Lodge member and often participated in fundraisers to support the community. Roxann loved unconditionally and instantly made one feel at ease and loved. Roxann had a way of making everyone feel special. Heaven gained themselves one of the best Angels.Roxann will be joining her loving parents, brothers, spouse, and stepson in heaven who preceded her in death: Spouse Harold Watkins and stepson Buddy Watkins. Parents: Harold and Hazel Meyer, brothers William and Gordon Hansen, Duane and Kenny Meyer.Roxann is survived by sister Sandra Meyer, stepdaughters Tammy Watkins and Debbie Watkins. She is also survived by a long list of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
