Rosenda Almazora's Obituary
Ms. Rosenda Almazora “Adela” “T’Ade” “Mamma T’Ade”, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Aldana was born March 1, 1956 in Pangasinan, Philippines. As a teenager, Adela had taken a leap of faith to journey away from home. When she made the decision to enter an unfamiliar house with unfamiliar faces, little did she know that this place would soon become her home away from home. She filled her new home with love that is boundless yet intimate and she turned it into heaven-on-earth.Adela’s dedication to this family began at the tender age of 16 and she, nevertheless, chose not to attend college nor accept suitors because her new-found family was more valuable to her than any worldly possession she can gain for herself. She raised this family very much like her own, in most days, more than her own blood. If there is a single word to describe Adela’s commitment, it is “marriage.” Adela was united to the Robles family in such matrimony so holy that she was similarly blessed with children that she adored and adored her in return. Her children multiplied because those who stepped into her life became permanently and indiscriminately loved. It is easy to feel extremely blessed by her presence for she radiates with joy and overflows with self-sacrificing kindness.Adela quietly departed this life on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 5:30 am at Kaiser Hospital in Downey, California. Although her body will be returned to dust, her spirit is omnipresent. Her life will forever be cherished by the lives of those who were truly fortunate to have been under her generous care:Amado Robles, Cecilia Robles. Catherine Suntay, Jun Suntay, Brianna Suntay, Marc Suntay. Cristina Gomez, Cecilia Topacio, Michi Bui, Celis Robles. The dela Cruz family, Jonabel Oliveros and the extended family and friends who will forever embrace her memory close to their hearts, in the same way she embraced others with her gentle spirit.
