Rose Mary Leach's Obituary
Rose Mary Leach 92, passed away on 2/17/18 and has been reunited with the Love of her Life William Leach (Pop).She was born on 12/31/1925 in Woodland Ca. She lived in several different cities before settling in Alameda County.She attended St. Mary’s Elementary School (Oakland), and graduated from St Elizabeth High School (Oakland), where she Lettered in Backsketball.She worked for Swans Department in Oakland for 20+ years, as Buyer for Ready to Ware clothing for women, Cashier, and then in the Credit Department. She also worked for Alameda County, again for 20+ years, as a Eligibility Technician II Bi-Lingual worker (Spanish).She is survived by her 4 Daughters Tina Howard (Roy), Angela Coker, Judi Moreno, Son David Moreno, and Daughter Nicole Jorgensen (David). She was also survived by her Grandchildren, her four legged Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren. Rose Mary was preceded in death by her Son Lawrence Martinez.Mom loved all of her family very much, even her adopted children, too many to count, and you all know who you are.Her favorite pass time were Reading, Gardening, Dancing, and listening to her Music (Nat King Cole, Dinah Washinton, Billie Eckstein). She was a big sports fan, watching her favorite Teams play, Oakland Raider’s (George Blanda and Jim Plunckett), Boston Celtics (Larry Bird), Oakland A’s Horse Racing (Russell Baze) .But the most favorite thing off all was that she loved being with her family and friends.We would like to thank Kaiser Manteca for all that they did for our mother and us at the time her death. Also give thanks to Chapel Of The Chimes Hayward for being so helpful, compassionate, and patient with myself and family members.We are having a Celebration of her Life on Saturday 3/24/18 starting at 10 AM to 11:45 AM. Then a Reception following at El Paraiso Restaurant (old Frenchy’s) 29071 Mission Blvd, Hayward Ca. all are welcome to attend.Please in-lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer Association.
