Rose S. La Starza's Obituary
Rose (Boyajian ) La Starza, 99 passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family on Thursday , March 17, 2022 at her home in Mountain House, California. She was the wife of the late Salvatore (Frank) La Starza and a daughter of the late Harry Boyajian and Zarman Boyajian whom were survivors of the Armenian Genocide.
Rose was the beloved mother of Gayle Easterday and Joann Varela. She was born and lived in Providence, Rhode Island with family and then moved to Northern California in 1965 with Gayle and Joann
Rose was the loving and proud Grandmother of Angelina, Christina, Jose, Daniel (Monica) and Susan (Paul). Loving and proud Great Grandmother of Darius, Gianna, Natalia, Mackenzie and Madison. Loving Great Grandmother of Evan, Elias and Emanuel. Loving Great Great Grandmother of Alesiyah. She was the surrogate grandmother to Elena and Charlene. She was the sister of the late Michael Boyaian, George Boyajian and Osana Kaloian. She is survived by her niece Linda and great nephew Johnny on the west coast and many nieces and nephews on the east coast.
Rose set the tone for what family is meant to consist of and guiding us all to be our best versions of ourselves. Our hearts are forever blessed with her Love, Wisdom, Style and Grace. She was always the life of the party and dancing through it all.
Her motto always saying: Get up, Get Dressed and keep pushing forward.
Rose’s legacy lives on in all of us
Family, Light, Love and Wisdom.
She touched the lives of so many and her memory will always be a blessing to us all.
