Rosa L. Borje a Union City resident entered into rest Saturday, September 15, 2001 in Fremont. Born in the Philippines on August 30, 1934, she was 67 years of age. Rosa was a elementary teacher for 28 years in the Philippines, prior to her move to the United States. A very religious, devout Catholic. She was a very giving and helpful person who loved children and was close to her nieces and nephews. She also loved to watch sports on television.Dear sister of Genara Villiastiqui of San Jose, Imelda Peneyra of Hawaii and Willy L. Borje of Union City. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2001 from 5:00-8:30 p.m. and Thursday in the Mission Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Friday, September 21, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 32223 Cabello Street, Union City, CA 94587. Interment will follow in Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, Hayward.'Service of Marked Distinction'
