Ronald H. Robles' Obituary
Ronald Robles, age 88, passed away on December 23rd surrounded by his loving family.
A proud native San Franciscan and Galileo High School graduate, he fondly remembered the North Beach days of his youth.
He made lifelong friends during his long career at PG&E, and in retirement would meet monthly for lunch with his 8 friends at either Val's or Joe's of Westlake. The fourth of five children born to Rose Villa, he now joins his siblings Fred Eglip and Rosalie Pizzo-Strain in eternal life.
He is survived by his siblings Warren Robles and Joyce Thomas. He would tell you he was a fortunate man to have a wonderful family in his life.
He enjoyed 38 years with his wife Ida and their blended family of children: Jody Farrell (Glenn), Ronald Robles, Jeff (Jennie), John (Chung), and Fraida (Rolando). He was proud of his 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Ron enjoyed the simple things in life: reading the newspaper, coffee in the morning while doing the daily crossword puzzle, FOX news, and watching golf from Thursday to Sunday.
An avid San Francisco sport enthusiast, you knew never to call him during a 49er or Warrior game. A memorial service with be held at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward CA on Saturday January 3rd from 4-8pm.
