Ronald L. McDonough, known to his friends as Smokey, passed away in Arroyo Grande, Ca. where he resided with wife; on Aug. 8, 2002. He spent his life, even to the moment of his death, laughing and always looking for the amusing side of life. Ron was born in Hayward Aug. 5, 1946 and attended Sunset High School. His Parents Darrell and Ione McDonough preceded him in death. In life Ron was much loved by his wife Paula.He leaves to cherish his memories; wife Paula, his stepchildren Bobbie and husband John Curiel, Jeremy and wife Lorie Elrod, four grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his brother Richard McDonough and wife Teresa with their children Dawn and Eric, his cousin, his many friends, and life long friend Bruce Rich.'If it is God's will we will meet again'Your loving wife, PaulaVisitation will be Friday August 16, 2002 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at Chapel of the Chimes. A Funeral service will be held Saturday August 17, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. at Chapel of the Chimes memorial Park and Funeral Home 32992 Mission Blvd. in Hayward.
