Ronald Anthony Macedo's Obituary
Ronald A. Macedo 82, died after short illness July 28, 2021, at
John Muir Hospital-Concord. He was born March 27, 1939 in Oakland,
Ca, the son of Raymond A. and Marie Delores (Cabral) Macedo.
He was a former owner of Ron’s Sports Car Shop in Hayward, worked
at various Chevrolet dealerships in the area. He also had Ron’s Lawn
Care Service in Oakley.
He was a former member of the 4 R Corvette Club and was involved
with a Metropolitan Car Club. In his early years he was with
Sophisticats in San Lorenzo.
He was predeceased by his wife Joy, his parents Raymond and Marie
Macedo, Brothers Dennis and Terrance.
Surviving relatives are daughters: Bonnie Cole of Kingsport, TN,
Debra Blatchford and husband Robert of W Palm Beach, Fl, Tracy
Smart and husband Ryan, and Kimberly Siemens and husband Jeff of
Brentwood, Ca, Nine Grandchildren: Shaun Cole, Erin Cole, Tyler
Cole, Aiden Smart, Killan Smart, Jacob Siemens and Kyra Siemens.
Two Great Grandchildren: Caleb Cole and Avery Cole, Two Sisters
Carol Keene and Cheryl Azevedo and husband Tony, Two Brothers
Raymond and Robert Macedo, and many Nieces and Nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at Chapel of Chimes in Hayward on
Friday, September 10th at 10 AM and a Celebration of Life in Oakley
on Saturday, September 11th at 11 AM at his home.
