What an amazing man! His upbeat personality and courage shines as an example for all of us. Just extraordinary…the support of his wonderful wife and boys during his “journey ” is inspirational. We will miss this special ” boyfriend”!
Thinking of Ron, his tall stature and broad smile automatically enter my mind. Knowing Ron since I was a kid I was able to observe how he reacted to life and all it threw at him. One thing I noticed, good or bad, his smile always managed to surface. One thing I’ve learned is that difficulties produce character. It will make the true you show. Standing tall, crutches, hospital bed, his countenance never changed. Ron was and had quite a character. I grew up down the street and moved back later with my own family. We loved being neighbors with the Bowens (mom and dad still do). I wish I could be there in person to share condolences with you all. Love to all the Bowen family. Tish
