Romy Yunsay Vidal's Obituary
Romy “Bebing” Yunsay Vidal, of Hayward, CA passed away at the Kaiser San Leandro Hospital on January 25, 2020 at the age of 72. Born on June 1, 1947 in Quezon City, Philippines. He is the second oldest of 7 children. He preceded in death by his parents Pantaleon and Dominga, and brothers
Eduardo and Edgar. Romy will be forever remembered by his wife of 38 years, Maria Vidal, and his daughter, Sheena Lieu, his son-in-law Jason Lieu, his grandchildren Avery and Aiden Lieu, his nephews and nieces, and by his brothers and sister, Art, Jesus, Noel and Josephine.
After graduating from University of the East College, Romy migrated in 1980 to the United States. His first job in America was with PG&E and shortly thereafter, he worked for the Alameda County Superior Court for 26 years before enjoying an early retirement. Romy loved to dance and sing whenever he had a chance to. He also said that he missed driving and had fond memories of his Toyota 4Runner. He enjoyed shopping at Costco, eating his favorite food California Rolls, traveling, especially back home to the Philippines and most of all he loved watching his two grandkids play and grow. He was also an avid Golden State Warriors and SF 49ers fan.
