OBITUARY FOR ROMEO MONSALE MONTANO SR. Engineer Romeo Monsale Montano Sr. passed away on March 7, 2014 at 8:15 p.m. in Kaiser Permanente Hospital, Hayward Ca. U.S.A. at the age of 86 years old. He died of Renal disease which he had been suffering for seven years. He is survived by his wife Alicia Nite Montano, a retired professor of the University of Iloilo, Philippines, and retired at Ford Aerospace & Communications Corp. U.S.A. His four children are Romeo “Boots” Jr. who is a Chemical Engineer and an Electronics Technology Engineer; Mary Paz Montano Herrera, is a Business Management and Public Administration graduate in the University of the Philippines and retired as a Senior Purchasing Buyer with LSI Logic Corp. in Milpitas, Ca. She is married to Pythias Herrera who is an Engineering Software Manager of Micro Tech Corp. in Fremont, Ca. Ronald works in Accounts Payables at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, Ca. and is married to Maria Paz Yap from Molo Iloilo, who is an accountant in a Real Estate firm in PaloAlto. Ca. The youngest child is Mary Josephine who is a Certified Optician. Romeo has four grandchildren. Michelle Herrera is a Business Administration graduate from HAAS, the Business School of Berkeley; Romeo Joseph 22 years old, Melissa Nicole 14 years old and Gabrielle 13 years old who are all still currently in school. Romeo Montano Sr. was the founder and the first general manager of Iloilo Electric Corporation in Tigbauan, Iloilo, Philippines. He retired as a Professional Mechanical Engineer at Air National Guard , Moffet Field, Mountain View, California, U.S.A.
