ROMAN “RAY” CRUZ Roman Duenas Cruz, better known as Ray ‘CHADA’ died in Kaua’i on Feb 23, 2008 at the age of 67. He was born in Guam and resided in Union City CA. He retired from the Oakland Naval Supply Center (1993) in CA. He is survived by his wife Lola, son Roman Jr; daughters Yvonne Carter CA, Yvette Cruz, CA, Yves Cruz, CA; five grandsons and one great-grandson; brothers Ignacio (Maria) of Guam, Antonio (Eloise) of Guam, Vicente CA, Jesus (Marian) CA; sisters Lucia (Jesus) Salas of Guam, Bernadita Quitagua of CA, Lagrimas (Pedro) Cruz of Guam, Olivia (David) Tenorio CA, Maria (Jesus) Lizama of Saipan and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, Aunts and Uncles; and brother-in-law Larry Mesa. He was preceded in death by father Ramon Pereira Cruz; mother Amalia Duenas; brother Jose (Soledad) of Guam, sisters Teresita Cruz of Guam, Juanita Mesa of Guam; sister-in-law Amanda CA. Visitation will be at the CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA from 5:30-8:30 pm Thursday, March 6, 2008 with Vigil at 7:00 pm; Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 7th, 10:30 am at ST. ANNE’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 32223 Cabello Street, Union City, CA; interment to immediately follow Mass. Chapel of the Chimes 510-471-3363
