Roland (Ron) J. Dias
A lifetime resident of the Bay Area
Roland (Ron) passed away on September 7, 2020. He was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by this beloved wife, Marilyne, and two wonderful sons, Christopher and Robert, grandson, Daniel (Courtney) and great granddaughters Mila and Lauren. His is predeceased by his parents, Mary and Henry, brothers Alfred and Hank and sister Dolores.
Ron was proud to serve his country for four years in the Army and then attended and graduated from Armstrong Business College with a BA Degree. He then worked for both PT&T and AT&T for 30 years until his retirement after 30 years. He was then elected to the Board of Directors for Oro Loma Sanitary District and retired after 25 years of service. This was one of his happiest of times.
Ron was an avid fan of the A's, Raiders and 49ers and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He has been interred at the Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, Ca.
