ROJELIO M. HERNANDEZ's Obituary
Rojelio Hernandez, known to family and friends as “Roy” age 85, resident of San Leandro, died on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Roy was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 13, 1933 to Mercedes and Petra Hernandez. Roy served in the United States Air Force and retired from working as a civilian at the Alameda Naval Base. Roy was a sports fanatic, especially when it came to the Dallas Cowboys and he was also an avid golfer. Roy enjoyed road trips to Texas with his wife Janie and attending weekly church. Roy will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Roy is preceded in death by his wife Janie Hernandez and survived by his children, Theresa Hernandez (Anthony), Rojelio Hernandez (Francisca) and Maggie Northcut (Randal), 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to the Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 13th at 11am at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, burial to follow service.
