To LIZ, MATTHEW, and CHRISTIAN, MADELINE & DELPHINE ANDREA, RENEE, ALEX & FAMILY, and ERIN, David and I send so much sympathy, love, blessings and memories…When I met ROGER at Concordia Lutheran Jr. College Ann Arbor Michigan in 1964…I met a young man who had the DREAM and the VISION of COMMUNITY MINISTRY which he so very much achieved in Florida and then with YOU LIZ in California…Thank you Madeline and Delphine for loving me along with your mom/dad, Walt and Vera as the young seminary/clergy wife in St. Louis/Carol City Florida…Thank you LIZ for giving ROGER so much LOVE and CARE so he could co-create with you in so many ways…and THANK YOU MATT and CHRISTIAN for being the legacy of ROGER …each in your own unique way…To Andrea, Renee, Alex, & Erin….you are also part of the Volker legacy…and Roger and I were so PROUD of all of you…TO LIZ…you have our UTMOST RESPECT, COMPASSION, EMPATHY, and HEART FELT FEELINGS BEYOND WORDS as only couples that have had former spouses and now value EACH MOMENT as we are reminded of life’s fragility…and life’s OPPORTUNITY…which ROGER was passionate about creating…sometimes against the tide….Many Blessings to ALL the family, Marilyn Volker & David Yoblick
