Rodney C. Stacker's Obituary
Rodney C. Stacker was born on October 27, 1949 to two loving parents, Arnetta and Vernon Scott. He grew up in San Francisco alongside his older brother, Byron and younger sister, Joyce. A family man, Rodney cared deeply about parents, siblings, and later his partner, Myrna and only daughter, Chandamheer. He loved his family fully and immensely and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him could immediately sense and feel that love.
Rodney was a loving father, partner, brother, son, and friend. He was a kind, selfless and light-hearted soul who had an infectiously beautiful smile -- one that couldn't be ignored even from across the room.
Before retiring, Rodney spent years as a Senior Network Engineer and was a talented and savvy whiz when it came to computers.
Rodney loved to play tennis, jog in the early morning, ride his bike, swim, and bowl. He was active up until the end - wanting to walk as much as he could, breathe the fresh air, and feel the warmth of the sun.
He loved watching Family Feud, listening to music, mastering the stock market, watching scary movies, and learning. He loved words, kept fortune cookie fortunes tucked away as reminders for the future, and kept the Lord's prayers ever in his heart and mind.
Rodney passed away peacefully with a beautiful smile on his face on the evening of June 27th. He leaves to mourn his demise his only daughter, Chandamheer; his partner, Myrna; his older brother Byron, his younger sister, Joyce; and a host of relatives and friends who loved him so.
He will be deeply missed, but we know that he is watching over us and enjoying his new adventure in Heaven.
We love you, Dad. You will always, always be in our hearts.
