Rodel Parales Caguiat's Obituary
Rodel Caguiat, 59, passed away surrounded by family on Monday January 29, 2018. He was born on September 6, 1958 to Celestino and Antonia Caguiat in Salinas a small town in the province of Cavite, Philippines. Rodel finished BA in Maritime Transportation in the Philippines. He worked as a chef in a cargo ship to support his family in the Philippines. He came to the United States in 1992. He was as a maître d in Menlo Country Club for years before he transferred as a food and beverage manager at Stanford Faculty Club. Rodel was an avid photographer and spent most of his weekends fishing around San Francisco Bay. He also liked watching movies, cooking and reading. Rodel is a jolly fellow dedicated in helping others and his family. He is now in a better place where there is no pain, with all the sweets he could eat. He left a detailed message for his family to always be together and to make sure to capture every moment.
