Roberto S. Elbo Sr. 88, formerly of Hayward, passed away May 8, 2002 in the Philippines. He was born November 14, 1913 in the Philippines. He was a retired Government Auditor in the Philippines. He graduated from college with a degree in Industrial Chemistry. He enjoyed playing the violin, and Gardening. He was married to the late Pura Mercado Elbo. Roberto is survived by daughters, Nilda Delacruz of Placentia, Ca, Sheila Leviste of the Philippines, Merly Balingcongan of Long Island, New York, Marvinne Aquino of Australia, Bernadette Gozon of Atlanta, Georgia. Sons Rolando Elbo of Long Island, New York, Roberto Elbo Jr. and Edgardo Elbo, both of the Philippines. Also survived by 1 sister and 3 brothers. 23 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Visitation Sunday May 12, 2002 from 5:00 p.m. ' 8:30 p.m.. Funeral service Monday, May 13, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. both at Chapel Of The Chimes Mortuary (Mission Chapel).
