Roberto Diaz's Obituary
Roberto Diaz, 74 of Union City California drifted into eternal life on March 15, 2018. Roberto was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador on May 25, 1943 to his mother Margarita (Flores) Wallard of San Francisco, Ca and his deceased father Hector Diaz of Long Beach, Ca.In addition to his mother, Roberto is survived by his loving wife Ana Luz Menendez Diaz; his two daughters Ana Patricia Diaz Brandt and son-in-law Richard Brandt of Hayward, Ca., and Janet Margarita Diaz and son-in-law Anthony Patrick Perez of Union City, Ca. He is also survived by his grandsons Joshua M Diaz-Varela and his girlfriend Elizabeth Rodriguez of Union City, Ca., Joseph M. Diaz-Varela of Union City, Ca. and Robert William Diaz-Brandt of Hayward, Ca. Roberto’s brother Hector Diaz of Brisbane, Ca. and sisters Griselda, Norma, Sandra, Sylvia and Ivonne of Southern California. He also is survived by brothers & sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, and Godchildren. He also leaves Sean, Adam and Casey Bracamonte of Union City, Ca., whom he considered to be his children.It is important to the family that instead of mourning his death we celebrate his life. Roberto loved life to the fullest, he cherished every moment with his wife, daughters, grandsons, family and friends. The family feels that the best way to honor him is to remember him with laughter because of his colorful sense of humor and smile for all the great memories we all have made with him. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that anyone wishing to honor Roberto that they make a donation to any Youth Sports; Animal Rescues or to “Pay it forward” to those in need of help.A memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home in the Reflections Chapel, 32992 Mission Bl, Hayward Ca 94544 on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
