Robert Joe Swanson's Obituary
Rev. Robert Joe Swanson Resident of Hayward Rev. Robert Swanson went to be with his Lord on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at the age of 84. He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Patsy June Swanson; two sons Harold and Billy, and one daughter Patricia Swanson. Robert also leaves behind 11 grand-children, 17 great-grandchild-ren and three great-great grandchildren. Rev. Swanson served as pastor and minister in the Bay Area for more than 45 years. Robert was recently recognized for being an Ordained Minister with the Pentecostal Church of God Organization of Northern California District for 40 years. Viewing will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23 at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward (Mission chapel). Services will be 10 a.m. Wed., Aug. 24.
