STEWARTRobert 'Bob' Milton Stewart, 83 passed away at West Valley Rehabilitation Center in Los Gatos, California on Tuesday, September 17, 2002. Bob was born to Tom G. and Cora L. Stewart in Nashville, Arkansas on June 29, 1919. Bob was a resident of San Jose, California for three years and prior a resident of Montgomery Creek, California. Bob was a retired Master Carpenter. Bob served in the U.S. Army during WWII.His parents, Tom G. and Cora L. Stewart, preceded Bob in death. He was also preceded in death by beloved wife of 55 years, Edith Stewart. His loving children, Margaret Osterman of San Jose, California and Tommy Stewart of Westminster, Colorado, survive Bob. Bob was a proud grandfather of four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Darren Stewart, Brenda Stewart, Angela Messer, Elaine Stewart and great-granddaughter, Jaclyn Messer.Services were held privately at the family's residence. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Entombment was held privately at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park; 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, CA 94544.The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be sent in his memory to the American Heart Association: P.O.
