Robert Allen Knabe also affectionately known as "Bob" , age 71 of Hayward, CA passed away on march 11, 2022. He grew up in Hayward, CA. where he became a brick layer , later sold RV's and became an RV repairman; he then mastered the skill and later began his love of hot rods.
He is survived by his loving wife Rita Knabe , his sister Joann Goetz , his Children Robert Knabe, Daughter-in-law Kelly Knabe, Granddaughters Taylor and Lauren Knabe. Melissa Knabe, Granddaughter Ericka, Alauna and Kallie. Michael Knabe and Rosie, grandson Jessie Knabe.
His stepchildren Larry Young, Sean Young, daughter-in-law Julie Young, grandchildren Kyle, Kate and Kali Young, Daniel Dutton, daughter-in-law Lynn Dutton , granddaughter Emerald Dutton, as well as numerous people that were lucky enough to call him family. Bob had many best friends, No one could meet this man and not call him "friend". To know him was to love him!
The only thing he loved beyond his Blown 29 was his wife and family. He also enjoyed going to car shows, hunting , camping, fishing and watching westerns with his wife and his dog "Buddy". He always had a story that could light up a room and make everybody laugh. Nobody could tell a story like Bob.
Services will be held April 11th. Celebration of life following the services will be at The Shop, at 847 Industrial Pkwy W. Hayward, CA.
