Robert John Hendrie Jul. 12, 1933 – Feb. 2, 2010 Resident of Livermore Beloved husband of Cecilia Hendrie, caring brother of Rosanna Mahoney, loving father of Linda Buskey and Robert Hendrie, cherished grandfather of Darren and Scott Buskey and Elias Hendrie, devoted father-in-law to Rick Buskey and Ayan Hendrie, brother-in-law to Bill Mahoney and loving uncle to Mary Mahoney, William Mahoney, Patricia Mahoney and Christopher Mahoney. Robert “Scotty” Hendrie was born in New Rochelle, New York where he excelled in his youth playing basketball and was awarded a scholarship at Lafayette Louisiana. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Strong. He was an avid fan of the San Jose Sharks and really enjoyed watching his grandchildren play in their sports games. Bob is sincerely going to be missed by all family and friends.
