Robert Kenneth Grange May 10, 1942-October 11, 2016 Robert Kenneth Grange passed away peacefully and full of love on October 11, 2016 at Washington Hospital in Fremont, California. His beloved wife Mary, and his daughters, Keri and Jill were at his bedside. He was the son of Vernon and Virginia Grange and was born May 10, 1942 in Oakland, California. He graduated high school from Golden Gate Academy, attended some college and eventually worked for General Motors, becoming a voice for the United Auto Workers. He would eventually retire from General Motors and New United Motors Manufacturing Incorporated to enjoy spending time with his family, his dog and watching westerns, baseball, football and golf. He was a Democrat and was hopeful that Hillary Clinton would become our next president. He is survived by his best friend and wife Mary Grange of forty-two years, his children Joe & Keri Carrillo, John & Jill Neifer, Tony McDonald and Jennifer Thomas. His grandchildren are what kept his heart beating! He adored and was proud of each and every one of them. Joseph & Cristina Carrillo, Nathan, Rebecca, Josie & Joshua Neifer and Ashley McDonald you held his heart in your hands. Least, I not forget his beloved pooch Charlie. His heart was so full of love for his family he was unable to go on. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, California 94544 from 1230-1500. We look forward to honoring his life with you!
