Robert “Bobby” Dias February 10, 1932 – June 1, 2013 Resident of Union CityRobert passed away on June 1, 2013 at home with his family. He was 81 years old. Robert was born and raised in Hawaii. He met Violet Carvallyo and they were married in Hawaii in 1956. The next year he and his new bride moved to Hayward, CA. They raised their three boys, Dennis, Wesley, and Warren in Hayward and Union City. Robert worked for the Presidio in San Francisco for 30 years. He loved his family, dancing, and music. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Dias, Sr., and Nancy Dias, and by his brothers, Richard and Peter, Jr. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Violet; his three sons; and four grandchildren. A Memorial Service for Robert will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013, 2:00 pm, Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, 32992 Mission Boulevard, Hayward, (510) 471-3363.
