Robert 'Bob' Harold Boulton a San Lorenzo, California resident entered into rest Wednesday, July 10, 2002 in Livermore, CA. Born in Durham, North Carolina on August 28, 1919, he was 82 years of age. He served in the U.S. Navy. He served 4 years prior to WWII and 3 years during WWII. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor and served on the U.S.S. California Battle ship and the U.S.S. Cruiser Oakland. Bob built many WWII model dioramas. He enjoyed music, gardening, dancing, family history and photography. Dearly beloved husband of Jean Boulton for 57 years. Loving father of Cherie Boulton & Al Grutze of Hayward, CA, Robert & Candy Boulton of Porterville, CA and Daniel & Janet Boulton of Livermore, CA. Dear brother of Faydine Currin of Sanford, North Carolina and Gerald Boulton of Modesto, CA. Devoted grandfather of seven grandchildren. Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Service Friday, July 19, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in the Reflection Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home. An Inurnment will follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park with full Military Honors.
