Robert Battaion's Obituary
Robert Oreste “Bob” Battaion Fremont, CA 08/05/35 08/31/08 Bob passed away peacefully at home, with his family by his side, early Sunday morning. He will be deeply missed by his wife Margaret, children, Karen and Paul Foster, Steve and Teri Battaion, Ann and Tim Rust, Cheryl and Vaughn Lasit and his 12 grandchildren: David, Greg, Chris, Hawa, Michelle, Anthony, Jaime, Taylor, LeeAnn, Larissa, Hailey and Breeyn. He is survived by his brothers, Richard Battaion and Roger Battaion and his sister Rosanne Harris, along with many nieces and nephews. Bob was a native of SF and lived in Fremont with his family for 48 years. He worked for the State of California for 37 years, retiring ! at the age of 58 to spend more time with his family. He enjoyed volunteering as a scorekeeper for District 14 Little League Baseball and delivering food for Meals on Wheels. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 5, 2008 at 10:00 am, Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.
