Robert Balanza's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Balanza of Tracy, CA, on March 15, 2021. He was always a wonderful and loving Husband, Father, Grandpapa, Son, Brother and Friend.
He was born in the Philippines in Grace Park, Manila on July 9, 1945 to Attorney Arturo Clemente and Romana Balanza Dagen. Robert graduated from Oakland Technical High School.
Robert had a career in Airfreight transportation services for 45 years and worked for multiple airfreight companies which motivated him to eventually open his own company.
He had a huge passion for golf and was a member of the Mabuhay Golf Association for several years. He also enjoyed playing Blackjack, as well as playing poker during family gatherings with his Brother-in-laws.
He was married to Erlinda Haraguchi for 5 years and is survived by 2 sons: Dean and Anthony, and grandchildren: Mia, Marcus, Holly, Paris, and Bradley.
He married Lori Balanza on August 7, 1976, and is survived by her children: Daniel, Tina and Denise, and grandchildren: Jennae, Devin, Anthony (Anjo), Caressa, Kaleo, Vijay, Jaiden and Makayla.
He is also survived by his brother Allen Dagen.
Private funeral arrangements will be held at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward CA.
