ROBERT ESEQUIEL ARMIJO's Obituary
Robert Esequiel Armijo Sr. (Bob), 71, of Union City, CA, passed away on April 18th 2015 in his home surrounded by family.Bob was born in Lordsburg, New Mexico to Luis and Anna Armijo on September 11, 1943. At the Age 17, he left home to pursue adventure in the Marines, an experience which would shape the rest of his life. After the military, Bob completed his high school degree and earned an Associates Degree from Chabot/Laney College. He found a career at United Stamp and Die in San Francisco where he made many life long friends. That provided him the foundation to start his own business Tri-City Engravers in 1977 which he passionately ran with his wife for over 35+ years until his battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis prevented him from doing so in 2014.Bob is survived by his wife Deborah, his children: Kristina Aldana, RobertArmijo Jr., Renee Tinoco and Bethany Armijo, his siblings Agnes, Florence, Theresa, Paul, Pauline and his 8 grandchildren Alexander, Vivianna,Robert Ryan, Emmanuel, Carina, Nathaniel, Mikayla, Miguel Jr. Bob was dedicated to his family, his church and his country. He exemplified the American Dream and was a role model, mentor and friend to many. We all miss him dearly. We love you DAD!Funeral service will be held at St. Anne Church, 32223 Cabello St., Union City, CA on Thursday April 23rd at 10am with Father Geoffrey Baraan officiating. Internment will follow at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA. Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Chimes on Wednesday April 22nd at 5pm.
