Richard Mata Reyes' Obituary
Richard Mata Reyes, 74 years old, passed away on Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 at Kaiser Permanente Fremont Medical Center. Born in Manila, Philippines, the sixth of eight children, Richard graduated from the University of the East with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and worked in Mobile Oil before moving to the United States in 1984. He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Virginia; four children: Murtie, Trisha, Kristina, and Rachel Marie; daughter-in-law, Susan; and grandson: Nathaniel; and siblings: Corazon Correa and Leovino Reyes. He was a devoted husband and father who loved his family and knew Jesus Christ as his Savior. He will always be remembered for his kindness, humor, and perseverance throughout life. Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 27th, 2019 from 5 pm to 9 pm at Chapel of the Chimes’ Mission Chapel. Funeral and burial will be the following day at the same location from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
