Richard Manha's Obituary
Richard Edward Manha passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Kaiser hospital in San Leandro, CA. He died from renal failure at age 80. Richard was born on March 24, 1937 in Oakland, CA to Norman and Lillian Manha. Richard grew up in San Lorenzo, CA. Richard is survived by his wife, Sharon. They were married for 59 years and raised 4 children: Jim, Shelly, Tim, and Dan. He is also survived by his brother, Norman, and his wife, Gerry Manha. Richard was a proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren: Daniel, Michael, Sarah, Mark, Adam, Heather and Nick. Richard worked as a bartender in the family business for 30 years and was once elected bartender of the year. He served as committee chairman of a Boy Scouts chapter in San Lorenzo, CA. Richard enjoyed music, fishing, landscaping and animals. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 5:30 pm at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544. The family will be greeting relatives and friends after the service.
