Richard Manuel LoyaRichard Manuel Loya, 77, of Hayward, California passed away on Saturday, November 19th.The celebration of life will be held from 5-9pm on November 30th in the Mission Chapel at the Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward, California. The service will be officiated by Pastor David Ortiz of the Vine Christian Fellowship of San Lorenzo. The service begins at 6pm.Richard was born in Fresno, California on April 3, 1939. He graduated from Fresno High School in 1957.He was married to his beloved wife, Yvonne, on September 20, 1986. They were together for over thirty-five years.He worked as a machine operator, making plastic film for numerous companies for over fifty years.He is survived by his wife, Yvonne, his seven children: Vicki, Diane, Trish, Michael, Dee Dee, Wendy and Ron, his sister Jessie and his brother Gus, his niece Paula and his nephew Tommy, his fifteen grandchildren: Lacey, Morgan, Richard, Rodney, Kristy, Courtney, Rikki, Shanda, Clinton, Jacqueline, Hope, Amanda, Max, Shelby and Jackson, his fifteen great-grandchildren: Jaden, Jiovani, Amaya, Caleb, Gavin, George, Bryana, Dallas, Christopher, Ryder, Jayce, Faith, Clifford, Chevelle and Logan, and was also blessed with his first great-great-grandchild Daxton.He is preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Rosemary.Richard loved both playing and watching sports. He loved the Oakland Raiders, Oakland Athletics and the Golden State Warriors and on June 20, 2000, he got his first and only hole in one at the San Leandro Marina Golf Course.He was a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.
