Richard V. LaGrutta's Obituary
Richard Vincent LaGrutta, 74, a resident of Loma Rica, CA for seven years, entered into rest in Marysville on March 23, 2002. He was born in Alameda on May 13, 1927. Richard served in the Navy and was an auto mechanic of 50 years. His hobbies included gardening and classic Corvettes. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Claire Mae LaGrutta of Loma Rica; his sons, Darren John LaGrutta of Brentwood, Dana Vincent LaGrutta of Livermore and Danny Delyn LaGrutta of Loma Rica. Brother to Linda Eshom of Redding, Beverly Stalker of San Leandro, Marlene Cooper of Danville, Gilbert LaGrutta of Hayward and Johnny Vasco of Fremont. Also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, April 13, 2002 in the Mission Chapel of Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Hayward, CA (510) 471-3363 "Service of Marked Distinction".
