Lauren has told me that she was in touch with Uncle Richard a lot. I’m sorry I didnt get to know him. Aunt Emily and family,Uncle Richard was a man of great strength in so many ways. He sacrificed to keep this country free. A very modest man, so gentle. He was so proud of each and every one of you. I was blessed to have him as an uncle. And than blessed again when we were reunited through ancestry. I enjoyed listening to his stories of our family. He shared some good ones of my dad that I knew nothing of. Through all of this, I was able to get to know you all better. May God’s loving arms wrap around you all giving you peace, comfort, and love. Uncle Richard has now reunited with his family and someday you will be able to also.
