Richard Jason Connolly's Obituary
Richard Jason Connolly Ph.D, 38, of Riverview, Florida, passed away on November 1st, 2021.
Richard was born on June 28th, 1983 to Frank and Cheryl Connolly in Tampa, Florida. After graduating from Riverview High School in 2001, he went on to study Bio Medical Engineering at the University of South Florida, graduating magna cum laude with a Ph.D in December of 2010.
After graduation, he kicked off an 11 year career by setting off to California where he landed his first job as a Biomedical Engineer in Research and Development for Analatom and then Oncosec. Later he moved to Washington and worked at Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center, he then returned to California to work as the Director of Biomedical Research for Pulse BioSciences, he was outstanding in his field and highly intelligent. He was an avid cyclist, enjoyed hiking and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his parents Frank and Cheryl Connolly, brother Nicholas Connolly, nieces Cadence and Kiersten Connolly, paternal grandmother Dorothy Connolly and maternal grandparents Richard and Sandra Lehigh all of whom he loved dearly as they did him
