Ricardo C. Basilio (Carding) Sunrise – March 28, 1943 Sunset – March 28, 2009 Resident of Newark We lost our beloved father on his birthday, March 28, 2009 from cancer with his family and loved ones by his side. He was a loving man who always put his family first. He will be remembered for the the great love he had for his wife, children and grandchildren. His generosity and gentle kindness to everyone will always be remembered. He had a unique sense of humor and great sense of style. He was cool. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Virginia; three beautiful daughters & their spouses, Janell & Jerry, Jennifer & Daniel, Jocelyn & Ross; loving in-laws, Irene & Victoriano Jacob; 7 grand-children, Anthony, Nathan, Joseph, Bryant, Ashton, Jasmine and Brooklyn; his mother, Esther Basilio from Manila, Phil; he was preceded in death by his father, Delfin Basilio. He is also survived by his brothers, Oscar, Sam, Pol & Ogie; sisters, Erlin & Cynthia and many nieces, nephews and cousins Viewing will be at the Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward on Sat & Sun, April 4th & 5th from 4:30-8:30pm & burial services at 10:00 am, Monday, April 6, 2009.
