Dora was a kind and generous person, who use her gentle soul to help others. For most of last year Dora took care of my father. She put up with him without complaint and became a member of the family. We will miss her. Lesley Wilhite

Written in memory of an actress-friend, and former student of mine, Rhodora Montemayor Palinar, who played lead roles in some of my plays, including my Palanca-award winning, “Ang Pagbabalik ng Musikero,” and was in the cast and crew of a number of productions of my prize-winning plays, “Ang Magsasaka,” “Alipato,” etc., which I directed and mounted, as UPCB Artist-in-Residence, for DULAANG UPCB ( UP Baguio), Baguio City, in the eighties. Shocked and deeply saddened to hear of her passing so early, way before her time. This song is for her. My deepest sympathy and condolences to the children and other family members of Rhodora. She was my student at UP Baguio. She was an intelligent and beautiful person, and she will be missed. I will offer prayers for the eternal repose of her soul.
