Reza Alani a Pleasanton, California resident entered into rest Friday, September 20, 2002 in Pleasanton. Born in Tehran, Iran on March 21, 1949, he was 53 years of age. Reza enjoyed sports, walking, music and nature. He was an employee of Gatan Inc. for 17 years in the field of Electron Microscopy. He has a BS, PhD in Applied Electron Microscopy and Metallurgy. He has four Patents in the field of Electron Microscopy and Applications.Dearly beloved husband of Mabbie Alani for 24 years. Loving father of Rouzbeh Alani and Brad Alani of Pleasanton. Dear brother of Naheed Alani and Babak Alani of Tehran, Iran, Azadeh Alani, Hamid Alani and Amir Alani of London, UK. Friends are welcome to attend a memorial service Thursday, September 26, 2002 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Four Point Sheraton Marriott, Hopyard Road, Pleasanton, CA.
