RENO FRANK VICINI's Obituary
Reno Jr. commonly known as “Birdie” by his family, passed away peacefully at his home in Newark, California, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Lewis Vicini, of 38 years, and his beloved children, Reno Scott Vicini, Sheila Camilosa (Meyrick), and Anthony Vicini (Cheri name), and step-father to Brandi Fearn, and Ginger Frownfelter (Paul). Cherished grandfather to 9 grandchildren. He was a loving brother to Renanne Mobley (Bill), Gino (Barbara), Giovanni (Susy), and Dino. Preceded in death by parents Reno and Anni. Uncle to many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Reno was born and raised in the Excelsior district of San Francisco to a loving family and moved to Newark when he was 14 years old. He attended Epiphany Catholic School and graduated from Newark High School in 1968. He worked since he was in high school at a local gas station and later as a top notch mechanic and Service Writer for Pierotti Motors in Fremont most of his adult life and other Nissan dealerships throughout the Bay Area. He was truly a legendary car guy. He enjoyed country music, and gambling, be it lottery tickets or trips to the casinos, trivia, San Francisco sports teams, and conservative causes. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and a best friend to his siblings. He was loved and admired by so many. He will truly be missed. OPTIONAL:In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Reno’s memory to or your favorite charity.A graveside memorial service of celebration will be held on July 28th at 10 AM. Arrangements by Chapel of the Chimes-Hayward.
