Rene G. Arevalo's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Rene Godofredo Arevalo announces his passing after a brief and brave battle of kidney failure & liver cancer on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the age of 67 years. Rene was born on 11/1/1949 in El Salvador to Maria Hilda Jovel and Carlos Atilio Arevalo. He is surrounded by his wife, Lidia Adriana; children, Yesenia (Jason), Rene Jr & Mary T, Erick (Carolyn), Lilian Adriana (Ricardo), Claudia (Eduardo); grandchildren, Erick Jr, Reylan, Keira, Lucia, Isabella and Yadira. In 2016, Rene retired from San Francisco MUNI after 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, eating pupusas and living life. He was a caring, loving and generous man and will be surely missed by many.
