Remigio “Jiggie” Javier Castaneda, 72, of San Francisco & Union City, California, passed away Monday November 8, 2016 in Angeles City, Philippines.A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held on December 16, 2016 at Chapel of the Chimes from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm in Hayward California, with a reception to follow.Remigio also known as Jiggie or Remy to family and friends. Was a beloved Father, Husband, Brother, and Grandfather. He touched the lives of all the people he met. Everyone who knew him knew he was a funny, and outgoing guy who always seemed to keep you laughing. Whether it was him telling a joke, making fun of you, or just watching him nod in and out of sleep on the floor in front of the TV with his coffee. He loved to go camping and fishing as often as he could, and loved to dance. He was a hard working man, who took pride in everything that he’s done, and always worked hard to make everyone happy. Remigio was loved and survived by many family and friends, and will be missed dearly.
