Raymond Sierra's Obituary
On February 13, 2024, Raymond Sierra was called home. Born in Walsenburg, Colorado in 1929, Raymond passed peacefully after an ongoing battle with illness. He was known as the family storyteller and historian. He would sit and tell tales of his family history, Native American culture and his life experiences. Raymond was always up to watch a 49er or Giants game, have a BBQ, to go fishing or have a slice of pizza at his favorite pizza parlor. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, of 64 years, Beatrice Sierra, in 2021. Raymond was an impassioned husband, tenacious father, grandfather and uncle. He leaves behind his three daughters, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes on March 1st (Mission Chapel) @ 12:00pm and Internment proceedings will follow the same day @ Holy Sepulchre. If you are not able to attend & are interested in attending via Live Stream, please contact the family
