Raymond Shannon Lively departed this life at the age of 69 on Friday, January 24, 2014 and was a lifetime resident of Oakland California.Raymond entered this life on November 22, 1944 in San Francisco, California. He was born to Craig and Mary Alice Lively, and was the first of four children. Raymond attended Hoover Junior High School and was a graduate of McClymonds High School.Raymond was baptized at Love Temple Baptist Church in Oakland, California, and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior while attending Living Faith Christian Church in Oakland, California.Raymond was a loving husband to Catherine Marie Russell Lively, to whom he was married for 48 years and from this union was born three sons: Anthony, Kevin and Darryl Lively (La Shawn Lively) and also has a daughter Kimberly Kessie. Grandchildren: Joshua and Daniel Lively, Carter and Nakia and also two great-grandsons: Julian and Daniel Jr.Raymond leaves behind sisters: Sharon Bell (Harvey Bell), Debbie Kalib (Aziz Kalib), Iris Lively; and in-laws: Patricia Russell, Clara Watson (Lonnie Watson) Debrah Russell, William Russell, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.Gone but not forgotten and will forever be in our hearts.
