Raymond Anthony Liatto (JAN 3, 1943-MARCH 23, 2018), a long time resident of Hayward, CA died peacefully in his sleep, joining his beloved wife Patricia with his family at his side.He leaves behind to cherish memories, daughters Lauryn (Mark) & Tammy (Bear), son Steve (CJ), grandsons Joshua (Sally), James (Jessica) & Travis (Shirley), granddaughter Meagan, great granddaughters Leilani, Ella Rose & Maiya, great grandsons Benny & Mason. He also leaves his sisters Mary Linda and Kathie, several nieces, nephews and many other family members.Ray was born in Independence, Louisiana to Laura & Batist Liatto. He was raised together with his older sister Anna by their beloved Aunt Fannie after his mother passed away when he was very young. As a young teenager, he worked at his Dad’s Filling Station.He later moved to Monrovia, Ca at age 17 and began his sales career. A couple years later, Ray met the love of his life, Patricia (Patty) Keough. Ray & Patty married November 25, 1961 and welcomed their son Steve in August 1962, and daugher Tammy in December 1965.Ray moved his family to Hayward in 1974 and continued his sales career with Ladish/Tri Clover/Alfa Laval. He worked for Ladish/Tri-Clover/Alfa Laval(Union City, Ca) for over 50 years, retiring as an Inside Sales Representative for the company.Ray was a devoted family man who loved with all his heart and will be missed terribly. He enjoyed funny jokes, bowling, pheasant hunting, In & Out Burgers, going to Gratton Casino with his best friend of 47 years, Paul Mostipak and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
