Chapel Of The Chimes Hayward
I have alot of fun memories working with Raul at National Can long ago. He was always a big kid at heart and loved to laugh. I would see him opening up his right hand top drawer all the time…reach in..and then sneak something up to his mouth. I finally went over one day and asked him what he had in his drawer? He opened it to show me and it was FILLED with snacks… I never saw someone who was so slim eat so much junk food! The group of us at National Can use to go out after work, would go on hikes, and twice came to my house for Lobster Parties! The first time the Lobsters didn’t arrive so we had to reschedule the dinner. I have so many fun and happy memories of Raul..he was a wonderful man! He always had a sparkle in his eye and his laugh lite up a room!!My other memory of Raul was the day he asked me if I had any names for kids. Libby was pregnant and he was asking people at work if they had any suggestions. I told him if I ever had a girl I would name her Jessica Lynne, So he came back the next day and asked me if it was ok if they had a girl if they could use that and I said I would be honored to have you do that. I later on went on a had my own daughter…Jessica Ann.I will miss my buddy and will never forget him. He was a big part of my life at one time and I was blessed to know him! With all my love and sympathy to you girls…. I know how much he loved all of you!!##imported-begin##Gail Walker##imported-end##
