July 25, 1929 – Feb. 5, 2009 Resident of Newark Randolph passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009. He was 79 years old.He was born in Arkansas and was a longtime resident of Newark, CA. Randolph leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Bertha, and children: Randolph Moore, Jr., Paula Queen, James Capley, and Edward Capley, III. Preceded in death by daughter, Terry Perkins. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Randy, Tiffany, Amber (Randolph, Jr.); Tara, Della, Jeffrey (Terry); Tommy, Chris (Paula); Jimmy, Jr., Lorie, LeAnn (James) and Frank (Edward) as well as many great grandchildren. A proud Navy man of 20 years, Randolph served on the USS Midway – his Naval career being highlighted when he was promoted to Chief Petty Officer.
