Randall James Sowell's Obituary
We are sad to announce the death of Randall James Sowell, who passed away in the hospital on October 9, 2022 at the age of 59 in Fremont, California. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in out hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Sowell and Dorothy Sheaff and Step-Father Stephen Sheaff, and older brother, Richard Sowell. He is survived by his sister Rebecca Sowell Grasso. Step-Mother Judy Sowell, step sisters Tami and Kelley Gladden, and his only child, Matthew Sowell. He is also survived by his partner and friend , Barry Herrera .He was uncle Randy to his nephews, William, Robert, and Blake Grasso, and niece Amy Sowell. As well as many great nieces and nephews.
Randy served in the Armed Forces right after high school, and went on to Wyotech in Laramie, Wyoming to learn to work on Diesel Trucks. He was a former lead Sales and Customer Service Rep at MDC. He also worked as a volunteer caregiver until his death.
He also enjoyed working on his truck and playing on his waverunner and motorcycle.
