Randal Mark Dilsaver's Obituary
DILSAVERRANDAL MARK DILSAVERJanuary 25, 1952 – December 5, 2018Randy Dilsaver passed away peacefully on December 5th at the age of 66. He was born in Oakland, California but lived for sixty years in San Lorenzo. He graduated from San Lorenzo High School and went to work with Goodwill Industries for several years. He later gained employment at the Lawrence Livermore Lab in the bicycle shop for 23(?) years. Randy was a devoted Catholic who attended St. John’s Catholic Church for as long as he lived in San Lorenzo. He loved riding his bike on long exploratory trips of up to 45 miles in a day. He traveled around the West and to Hawaii with his friend Paul and his brothers and sister. He earned a black belt in karate, enjoyed watching movies, especially comedies, and spent hours listening to classic rock and roll music. He could hear any song from the 1950’s and 1960’s and recite its title and artist. Most of all Randy loved his family and his faith. He is survived by his brothers Lary Dilsaver of Spanish Fort, Alabama and John Dilsaver of San Leandro, his sister Teresa Galvan of San Lorenzo, his sisters-in-law Robin Dilsaver of Spanish Fort, Alabama and Evelyn Dilsaver of San Leandro, his brother-in-law Edward Galvan of San Lorenzo, and six nephews.
